Otherwise, let’s dive into Bermuda, looking at the best things to do in the evening.
Take in a Show at Daylesford Theatre
This theatre in Bermuda is located on Washington Street, just behind City Hall and it is a hub of activity for musicals, plays, and other performances. Of course, what’s on will totally depend on when you visit, so we won’t list all of the most exciting upcoming shows at the time of writing. Depending on the show, Daylesford Theatre is the perfect nighttime destination for families. For information about upcoming shows, check out Bermuda Musical & Dramatic Society.
Enjoy a Rum Swizzle in Bermuda’s Swizzle Inn

Bermuda’s signature cocktail is, without doubt, the Rum Swizzle. You can grab a swizzle in any bar or licensed hotel on the island, but it makes sense to grab one at the Swizzle Inn — the bar that invented this sensational beverage. The Swizzle Inn opened in 1932 and is one of the oldest bars on the island; it is a Bermudan institution.
Beach Parties on Tobacco Beach
If you’re visiting Bermuda in the summertime and you’re looking for a party, you won’t find anywhere better than Tobacco Beach. In the summer, different events are organised here. And, by different events, we mean beach parties with bonfires, beers, and live music! This is island life at its best and a beach party is perfect for couples or groups of friends looking for a good time.
Take a Sunset Cruise in Bermuda

Bermuda’s isolated location means that nothing obscures the views of the sunset from anywhere on the coast. While it’s great to just sit on the beach and enjoy a sunset, we suggest you take it a step further with a sunset cruise on any one of several boats that you can board in Hamilton. Get out on the water, breathe in the fresh sea air, sip a Rum Swizzle, and gaze out at the stunning Bermuda sunset.
Take a Bermuda Haunted History Tour
Not many people know that Bermuda’s St George’s settlement is the oldest continuously inhabited British settlement in the Americas, dating back to 1612. To put this era into context, in 1612, Shakespeare was close to the end of his career and had written The Tempest just the year before. Everyone knows that the older the settlement is, the more ghosts it has, and that’s why you can take a ghost tour of this UNESCO-listed settlement!
Take a Glow Worm Cruise
Witness a natural spectacle as you embark on a glowworm cruise. Bermuda’s waters come alive with bioluminescent glow worms, creating a magical light display unlike anything we’ve ever seen. Several tour operators offer evening cruises, providing the perfect opportunity to enjoy this unique natural phenomenon.
Stroll through Hamilton’s Front Street

Hamilton, Bermuda’s capital, transforms into a lively hub as night falls. Front Street, lined with colourful buildings and shops, is a perfect place for an evening stroll. Explore local boutiques, enjoy street performances, and savour the charm of this bustling yet relatively small city (by global standards).
Moonlit Beach Picnic
Bermuda’s beaches are just as captivating at night as they are during the day. If you’re a little tired of the hustle and bustle of the island’s nightlife, why not pack a picnic and head to one of the island’s many secluded beaches? Picture it: the gentle sound of waves, a starlit sky, and the company of loved ones… Do it right, and this will be a truly unforgettable experience.
Harbour Nights in Hamilton
If you happen to be in Bermuda on a Wednesday night, don’t miss Harbour Nights in Hamilton. This street festival features live music, local crafts, and delicious food stalls. It’s a fantastic way to experience Bermuda’s vibrant culture and connect with the local community. Besides, what else have you got going on on a Wednesday night?
